We visited for the Irish folk night! It was great. We only had chips but they were amazing. The Landlord was lovely, very attentative and made sure everyone was happy. The live music was great, love listening to live music and will definitely visit again

Since retiring I have taken up walking around the Colchester area. An important part of the walk is to incorporate a pub. I found the foresters in the vicinity of Colchester castle park. Inside the pub felt cosy and accomodating.a good menu and also dog friendly. As a vegetarian their menu includes good options for myself. I will at some point return to eat there.
